Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information AMI Academy ("we", "us", "the Developer") collects when you visit claudeview.io ("the Website") or create an account to use ClaudeView ("the Service"), how we use that information, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

By using the Website or the Service you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not create an account or make a purchase.

01 Who we are

ClaudeView is operated by an independent individual developer ("the Developer") trading as AMI Academy. ClaudeView is the data controller for personal information collected through the Website and Service.

For privacy questions, data-rights requests, or any other matter covered by this Policy, contact: support@claudeview.io.

02 What we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. Authentication is handled by our service provider Supabase. We never see or store your password in plain text.

Subscription and billing information

When you start a trial or pay for a subscription we collect, through our payment processor Stripe:

We do not see or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details. Those are handled directly by Stripe under their own Privacy Policy.

Technical information

Our hosting provider (Railway) and Supabase automatically log standard server data - IP address, timestamp, browser user-agent, and the URL requested - for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. These logs are retained for a short rolling window and are not used for advertising or profiling.

What we do not collect

The ClaudeView desktop application runs entirely on your own computer. We do not receive, store, or have access to:

All of that information stays on your local machine. The desktop app communicates only with the Claude Code CLI you installed on your own device, and with your own TradingView browser window. It does not transmit any of that data to us.

03 Why we collect it

We use the information above only for the following purposes:

The legal bases under GDPR are: performance of a contract (account, billing), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligation (tax, lawful requests). We do not rely on consent for any of the above except where required by local law.

04 Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described above:

We may also disclose information when required by a valid legal process, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of the business - in which case you will be notified by email.

05 International transfers

Our service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country of residence. Where required, we rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and adequacy mechanisms for these transfers.

06 How long we keep it

07 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over the personal information we hold about you:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@claudeview.io from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, email support@claudeview.io.

08 Cookies and tracking

The Website uses only the cookies and local-storage entries that are strictly necessary to log you in and remember your session. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies when you reach the checkout page; those are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

09 Children

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact support@claudeview.io and we will delete it.

10 Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords at rest, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

11 Third-party services used inside the desktop app

The ClaudeView desktop app interacts directly, from your machine, with:

We have no access to these interactions and do not control how those companies handle data. Please review their policies separately.

12 Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change we will notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
